In 1865, during the Civil War, a
persimmon tree sprouted on lnad that would eventually become the South end of
Louisville, KY. In 1997 after more than a century this tree, possibly one of
the oldest growing Persimmon tree in the U.S., was taken down in the name of
progress. Louisville Golf made a limited number of putters from this tree. A
printed History come with each putter made from this tree. Comes with a
leather putter cover.
